About this product
Intended use
Battery handle that powers and holds a laryngoscope blade, used to view the larynx and assist tracheal intubation.
Body: metallic. Batteries: included.
Available sizes, article numbers and packing quantities are confirmed with every quotation. Private-label and OEM versions can be produced on request.
- How it works
- The handle holds the batteries and an LED light source. When a green-system blade is opened onto the handle and locks in the working position, the light comes on and passes into the blade's light guide. Folding the blade back switches it off.
- Where it is used
- Emergency departments, ambulances, wards and infection-control settings, where a new device for every patient removes the reprocessing step and the risk of cross-contamination between patients.

Warning — do not reprocess single-use blades.
Single-use devices are made for one patient. Reprocessing can damage the light guide or the blade surface and cannot be validated, so the device is used once and then disposed of as clinical waste under local rules.
Check that the light is on and steady before the procedure. Handles supplied without batteries take standard alkaline batteries.

Which blades does this handle fit?
Fiber-optic blades built to the ISO 7376 green-system fitting, reusable and single-use. It does not light conventional blades.
What batteries does it take?
Standard alkaline batteries. The battery size depends on the handle format you order, and we confirm it in the quotation. This version is supplied with batteries included.
Can it be cleaned and used again?
No. It is a single-use device for one patient only. Reprocessing cannot be validated and can damage the device.
Can we order samples before a volume order?
Yes. Request evaluation samples with your quotation, or book a 15-minute call and we will agree the items and shipping.
Can it carry our brand?
Yes. We laser-mark your brand and article numbers and pack the product in your packaging, to your regulatory file.
