Overview
About this product
Intended use
Used to view the larynx and vocal cords and to assist tracheal intubation, by trained healthcare professionals in anaesthesia, emergency and critical care.
Reusable stainless steel with a lamp on the blade, for use with conventional hook-on battery handles.
Available sizes, article numbers and packing quantities are confirmed with every quotation. Private-label and OEM versions can be produced on request.
- How it works
- The lamp sits on the blade, near the tip. When the blade locks onto the handle, contacts in the fitting carry power from the batteries to the lamp.
- The Miller pattern
- A straight blade. The tip passes beneath the epiglottis and lifts it directly. It is often chosen for neonates and infants, and for patients with a long, floppy epiglottis or an anterior larynx. Profile (English profile) describes the blade's curve and flange; most departments standardise on one, so we match the profile you already use.
- Where it is used
- Operating theatres, anaesthesia, intensive care and emergency departments with validated reprocessing, where the device is reprocessed after each patient and stays in service for many cycles.
- What to tell us when you order
- The pattern and sizes you need, quantities per size, the handle system your department uses, and whether the blade and packaging should carry your brand.
